In this one day workshop (8 CEs) we will be working with neutral stones to perfect your natural rhythm, focusing on body mechanics and proper stone choice. In addition, we will be working with cool stones, learning the most effective way to apply them to the body to minimize any  change of temperature discomfort.

Stones: Round Stones (basalt and/or river rock are the most common): One large (should be able to control with one hand), One medium, One small (should fit comfortably in the palm of your hand). Specialty stones: 4 Trigger Point Stones These stones can be oblong in shape or have a rounded and or a tapered edge.  (When working with the point of the stone, your hand should take the shape of a claw grip. When the stone is being supported in the palm of you hand, your fingers should reach the end of the stone.) 1 Scapula Stone this stone should be approximately the size of your large round stone, but have a tapered edge no more then the with of your pinky finger/fifth digit. Cold Stones: If you have marble stones, try to bring similar sizes represented from the above stone descriptions (round stones should be brought in pairs) If you do not have marble, just bring additional stones to be placed in a cooler.

Supplies: massage table, massage oil, sheets, cooler, ice, wipes for stones and table and two hand towels.
